The Traditional Kabaddi Inter-District Chapionship got underway here at Hajizai grounds under the aegis of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Kabaddi Assocuation here on Wednesday. Member Provincial Assembly Muhammad Arif Ahmed Zai formally inaugurated the Championship with teams from districts Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi and Peshawar are participating. He was accompanied by Additional Commissioner Shabqadar Shayan Ali, District Sports Officer Mashal Malik, AD Sports Arshad Khan former DSO Tahsin Ullah, General Secretary of Provincial Kabaddi Association Syed Sultan Bari, President of District Charsadda Kabaddi Association Niaz Ahmed, General Secretary. Mohib Ullah, Maling Jan and other personalities were present.
The Inter-District Kabaddi Championship organized under the auspices of District Sports Office Charsadda. Advisor Sports Syed Fakhr Jahan and DG Sports on the special instructions of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to keep alive traditional games in the province. Inter-District Kabaddi Championship held at Hajizai Pul Shabqadar Charsadda. In the opening match District Charsadda, the host handing a shocking defeat to District Charsadda by 43-41 points in a closely contestant encounter witnessed a capacity ground.
