Special assistant to the Chief Minister on forestry, environment and climate change Pir Misawar Shah has resolved to take pragmatic steps to combat the negative impacts of climate change on the province.

On this occasion, the department gave a detailed briefing to the special assistant about the ongoing projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Earlier, he attended the Yadgar Shahada of the forest department and paid rich tribute to the martyrs and also placed a bouquet of flowers on the memorial.
Officials of the forestry department should adopt a people-friendly attitude in providing services, he said and added that time has come to solve the issues causing environment degradation.
