PESHAWAR: A team of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety Authority here Friday recovered 600 kilogram unwholesome liver meat during checking of vehicles on motorway toll plaza. The liver meat was later disposed of on dumping site of Water Sanitation and Services Peshawar. Fine was also imposed on driver of the vehicle. Similarly, food authority recovered 300 kilogram distasteful meat from a car on Kohat-Hungu Road. The meat was discarded and owner of car was fined. APP
Provincial Food Minister, Zahir Shah Toru has appreciated performance of food authority and directed to expedite campaign against mafia involved in supplying harmful edible items.
