Faryal wins KP Women’s Badminton Championship

Faryal Arshad of Peshawar won the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Women’s Badminton Championship. She defeated Sapna of Mardan by 2-0. Deputy Commissioner Mansehra Khalid Iqbal Khattak distributed prizes among the players.
Assistant Commissioner Mansehra Muniba Fatima, Assistant Commissioner Balakot Basharat Shah, Provincial Badminton Association Secretary Mohammad Amjad Khan, Organizing Secretary Bushra, General Secretary. District Badminton Association Mansehra Noorul Hasan, Coaches Hayatullah, Nadeem Khan, Finance Secretary Mian Sadaqat Shah were also present.
Faryal and Khakla of Peshawar defeated Anbar and Tanu Zaman won the trophy by two points. Secretary Provincial Badminton Association Amjad Khan and Organizing Secretary Bushra congratulated Commissioner Hazara Zahar Salam, Deputy Commissioner Mansehra Khalid Iqbal and District Badminton Association for organizing the successful event and hoped this series will continue in the future as well.
More than 60 female players from different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa took part in the championship who belonged to Peshawar, Charsadda, Swat, Mardan, Nowshera, Kohat, Swabi, Abbottabad, Haripur, and Mansehra.
