PESHAWAR: Workers Welfare Board (WWB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in collaboration with NGO Bedari has trained 46 women in sewing and embroidery skills with an objective to empower them financially. A ceremony in this connection was held at the Women Vocational and Polytechnic Institute. The event was also attended by Secretary WWB Muhammad Tufail, Director of Education WWB Amjad Khan and concerned staff. The women were also provided sewing machines and financial assistance package to start their own business. WWB has also planned training of women living in newly merged tribal districts. APP
