Chairman Amun Taraqqi Party, Muhammad Faiq Shah, has demanded the immediate resignation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi, IG Islamabad, and Chief Commissioner Islamabad.
In a statement here on Friday, Shah stated that their claims of halting the protest at Attock have failed miserably. Shah criticized the misuse of over Rs. 3 billion from the national treasury, which disrupted the capital’s system, and also called for an urgent investigation into the use of provincial resources during the PTI’s protest.
He demanded that the expenses be recovered from Gandapur and Bushra Bibi and deposited back into the provincial treasury.
Shah condemned the havoc wreaked upon Islamabad’s citizens, including the closure of schools, hospitals, and businesses, and the suspension of mobile and internet services.
He emphasized that those responsible for these disruptions should be held accountable immediately.
Shah called for the dismissal of such incompetent interior ministers and police chiefs.
The ATP chief praised the Pashtun community for their bravery and patriotism while criticizing the PTI leadership for being cowardly, opportunistic, and deceitful.
He condemned the PTI leadership’s repeated disregard for the lives of the people, stating, “The leadership of KP, which has mocked the sacrifices of its people, is unfit to govern any longer.”
Shah commended the Pashtun nation’s courage, loyalty to Pakistan, and unwavering support for the country’s esteemed armed forces and security institutions. He urged everyone to reflect on the betrayal faced by the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
