New Peshawar valley project to be completed soon, says Dr Majid

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Housing Dr Amjad Ali has said that the New Peshawar Valley, the province’s largest housing project, is set to be completed soon.
Dr. Amjad Ali announced that the project has been transferred to the Housing Department. The project spans 117,000 kanals and was previously under local government supervision. The Jalozai Housing Scheme is also being expanded through private partnership. For more information, you can try searching online. Dr Amjad Ali was met by the new Secretary Housing Department Khayyam Hassan in his office on Monday, said a statement.
Speaking on the occasion, the Special Assistant for Housing said that the responsibilities of the Housing Department have increased in recent times because the Chief Minister of KP has handed over the largest housing project of the province, New Peshawar Valley, which covers a total area of 117,000 kanals and which was under the supervision of the local government for many years, to the Housing Department so that this project can be completed as soon as possible on the pattern of other schemes of the Housing Department.
He added that the Jalozai Housing Scheme is also being expanded under private partnership. The Special Assistant directed that now the officers and staff of the Housing Department will have to work harder than before.
