LAHORE: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore has indicted Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Yasmin Rashid, Sanam Javed and other accused persons in Police station Shadman siege and arson case related to May 9 incident. Judge Manzar Ali Gill of ATC Lahore heard the case in Kot Lakhpat jail. The accused pleaded not guilty during the hearing of the case. Shadman police have already registered case. PTI had held country wide protest on the occasion of arrest of Imran Khan from precinct of Islamabad High Court in Al-Qadir Trust case on May 9, 2023. Civil, military and private installations were set ablaze during this protest. At least 8 persons were killed and 290 were injured in the protest. 1900 persons were arrested due to their alleged involvement in siege and arson incidents and clash with law enforcement agencies. Cases were also registered against Imran Khan and party workers. ONLINE
