PRCS delivers relief for 2,000 affected families of Kurram

PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) on Friday sent essential relief supplies to 2,000 affected families in Parachinar district Kurram. Following the request of Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, the aid includes family tents, blankets, kitchen sets, hygiene kits, and other necessities, aimed at supporting those affected by the ongoing crisis in the areas. The swift response from the PRCS, coordinated by its Chairman, Sardar Shahid Ahmad Laghari, has been widely praised by Governor Kundi. The supplies, dispatched from the organization’s National Headquarters, were handed over to the Red Crescent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa branch for distribution among the affected families. The timely action has been recognized as an example of humanitarian service, reflecting the Red Crescent’s core mission of providing immediate assistance during emergencies. Governor Kundi had personally appealed to the Red Crescent for aid, which was promptly delivered to alleviate the suffering of the displaced families.
