The Dosti Welfare Organization has announced the fourth edition of the Peshawar Literary Festival, titled “Rang-e-Khyaal,” scheduled to take place from February 11 to February 22, 2025, at the Area Study Center, University of Peshawar.
According to a statement, this year, the festival will feature over 200 speakers participating in more than 60 sessions covering literature, culture, and various other topics.
Dr Hanif Rasool, the festival’s chief organizer, highlighted that the event has expanded its reach beyond Peshawar to include Khushal Khan Khattak University, Chitral University, Kohat University, and FATA University This expansion aims to promote literature and culture across different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“The festival is a vital initiative to highlight the positive and peaceful image of our province.
It will feature renowned speakers from Peshawar, Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, and other cities,” Dr Rasool stated.
“In addition to the sessions, workshops and interactive discussions on various topics will also be organized, offering valuable insights to the attendees.”
The festival organizers are seeking the support of 150 volunteers to ensure its success. Dosti Welfare Organization invites literary enthusiasts, students, teachers, and the general public to participate in this cultural and literary celebration.
