Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Aftab Alam Afridi Advocate has said that transparent and fair use of Production Bonus Fund (PBF) will be ensured at all costs and each and every penny will be spent purely on the welfare of the people.
He added that a comprehensive development plan will be devised keeping in view the needs of each area under the PBF. He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting held in the Commissioner House Kohat regarding Production Bonus Fund.
The meeting beside others, was also attended by Shahryar Afridi MNA, Chairman DDAC Kohat Shafi Jan MPA, Daud Shah Afridi MPA, Deputy Commissioner Kohat Abdul Akram, Tehsil Nazims of Gumbat and Lachi and authorities concerned of the respective departments. The meeting discussed in detail the ways and means to ensure the transparent and judicious utilization of Production Bonus and several important decisions were taken in this regard.
The meeting stressed on preparing the projects of public interest in the fields of education, health, drinking water, electricity, gas, communication and works under the PB Fund. Matters of distribution of the said fund for investment in various sectors were also came under active consideration.
The law minister directed the authorities concerned to prepare such projects across the district which would directly benefit the people. He further directed that coordination between all departments is very important for timely completion of the projects.
Aftab Alam expressed his gratitude on the gathering of all the elected representatives on same page for the public welfare and agreeing on the use of resources for the people is very encouraging move and it will have a far-reaching impact on the development of Kohat.
