FPCCI delegation calls on CM Gandapur

A delegation led by the Vice President of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Aun Ali Syed met with the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, at the Chief Minister’s House in Peshawar.
According to a statement issued here on Friday, the meeting focused on the promotion of industrial and commercial activities in the province.
During the discussion, several key issues were addressed, including the allocation of plots for economic zones and chambers. The Chief Minister appreciated the suggestions put forward by FPCCI and emphasized the importance of involving the business community in government policymaking. He assured that FPCCI would be consulted in the development of future government policies and decision-making processes, with plans to include the chamber in various boards.
Ali Amin Gandapur also reiterated his commitment to taking concrete measures to foster economic growth in the province , recognizing the pivotal role of the business community in the country’s economy.
Present at the meeting were Special Assistant to the Minister for Industry and Trade, Abd Karim Khan, Secretary of Industry Amir Afaq, and other senior officials. Chamber leaders in attendance included Shehbaz Mehmood, President of the Haripur Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Rashid Ahmed Paracha, President of the Kohat Chamber of Commerce; and Khawaja Abdul Quddus, Former President of the Mohmand Chamber.
Aun Ali Syed expressed gratitude for the Chief Minister’s interest and cooperation, emphasizing that continued collaboration between the government and business leaders is essential for addressing economic challenges and boosting commercial activities in the province.
