Irfan Siddiqui, spokesperson government negotiation committee has said PTI has made up its made before our reply that commission will not be formed. “we have not terminated talks. When these have been finished by one side then we should talk with whom. Should we talk to walls by sitting in that room, he said this while talking to media men here Friday.
He went on to say patience and restraint is needed in negotiations. Problem is this the norms of talks have not remained part of their syllabus. This is not mere child play. One day you say “ we don’t talk and on other day you give some other statement. He went on to say jail gate opens and some one makes announcement suddenly that talks will not be held. PTI negotiation committee even does not know about it.
This is not child play. They should come out of ifs and buts. What was agreed, they should sit in meeting on January 28 and hear us.
He remarked Barrister Gohar is not member of PTI negotiation committee. He should say to their committee to sit in the meeting as per promise. They should come and hear our reply. We cannot become part of their this game where there is no certainty. It cannot be said while standing on the road that talks ended.
He stressed they should come out of ifs and buts. 7 days were mentioned. They should come to it. You should sit with us on January 28. Commission has to be set up or otherwise. Sit along with us and hear our reply. PTI walas don’t want to get our reply. We have to work out reply on the demand of PTI. PTI walas have made up their mind before for our reply. We even don’t know ourselves that what has to be written in reply.
Citing to PECA act he said information minister was talking about PECA act that working journalists will be taken into confidence. Those who are in guise of working journalists, they are not journalists.
