PESHAWAR
A protest demonstration was organized by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) district Peshawar, demanding the immediate release of the party founding chairman Imran Khan and other imprisoned party leaders.
The protest condemned the “unjust” detention of Imran Khan, restrictions on meetings with party lawyers and leadership, and his solitary confinement.
Senior PTI leaders, including Arbab Jehandad, Fazal Elahi, MNA Asif Khan, Kamran Bangash, Engineer Hamidul Haq, Ali Zaman Advocate, and others, addressed the protesters, criticizing the “fake federal government” for its tactics. They demanded the release of Imran Khan and all detained party leaders and workers.
The protesters vowed to continue their struggle for Imran Khan’s release and the downfall of the “fake federal government.” District President Irfan Saleem thanked the participants, including MNAs, MPAs, party officials, and workers, saying that the party is united and determined to achieve its goals. The protest demonstrated the strong support for Imran Khan and PTI in Peshawar, with participants from various walks of life attending the rally.
