PESHAWAR
Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Qasim Ali Khan has reiterated that the system of rewarding exemplary performance and penalizing negligence in the Peshawar police force will continue to ensure effective law enforcement.
Speaking at a ceremony at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines, the CCPO awarded cash prizes and commendation certificates to SP City Khalid Khan, DSP Investigation Khalid Khan, DSP Hashtnagri Circle Zahoor Khan, SHOs, and other officers for their outstanding efforts in solving serious cases through professional and technical expertise.
He emphasized the importance of hard work, professional skill development, and sustained operations against criminals, street crime, and anti-social elements. He urged police personnel to remain committed to their duty of protecting public lives and property by utilizing all available resources.
To strengthen law and order, snap-checking and roadblocks have been intensified across the city, particularly at district entry and exit points. Targeted search and strike operations continue against individuals involved in street crime, drug trafficking, illegal weapons, aerial firing, and other offenses. Additionally, police patrols have been increased in both urban and suburban areas.
CCPO Qasim Ali Khan reaffirmed that officers’ performance will be closely monitored, and those demonstrating excellence will be duly recognized. He stressed that Peshawar police remain committed to eradicating crime and ensuring public safety.
