LAHORE: The Central President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (S) chief and Vice Superior Maulana Hamid ul Haq and other people as a result of the explosion in Madrasa Haqqania Akora Khattak. He said that the news of the martyrs and injured including Maulana Hamid ul Haq is deeply saddened, targeting innocent worshipers is anti-Islamic. Ch Parvez Elahi paid tribute to the religious services of Maulana Hamid ul Haq Shaheed and said that Maulana Hamid ul Haq was a great religious scholar, our family relationship with him eons back to the time of his great grandfather Maulana Abdul Haq and Ch Zahoor Elahi Shaheed, his immense and unforgettable services for the promotion of Islam and the nation will always be remembered. He said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government used all resources to bring the elements involved in the blast to justice. Ch Parvez Elahi further said that terrorism and unrest have become a scourge for the society, terrorists have no religion, they are enemies of the country, the nation and humanity, we pray to Allah Almighty to accept the martyrdom of Maulana Hamid ul Haq and others and grant them a high place in Jannat al-Firdous and give the injured a speedy recovery.
