The City Traffic Police Peshawar organized a prize distribution ceremony at the Traffic Headquarters Gulbahar, attended by Chief Traffic Officer Haroon Rashid Khan, traffic officers, and officials.
During the ceremony, Chief Traffic Officer Haroon Rashid Khan distributed certificates of appreciation and cash rewards among officials in recognition of their outstanding performance.
He commended the dedication of the traffic staff and urged them to adhere to the policy of greeting first before engaging with the public, emphasizing the importance of courteous and professional conduct.
He further instructed officers and officials to utilize their abilities to ensure the effective implementation of traffic rules, maintain a smooth traffic flow, and raise awareness among citizens regarding road safety.
He assured that the policy of reward and accountability within the City Traffic Police Peshawar would continue, with commendation for those excelling in their duties and disciplinary action against negligence.
Chief Traffic Officer Haroon Rashid Khan also directed traffic authorities to sustain strict operations against illegal parking in no-parking zones and the encroachment mafia in the city.
He emphasized a zero-tolerance approach and warned that departmental action would be taken against any official displaying negligence in duty.
