LAHORE: PTI has resorted to Lahore High Court (LHC) in connection with permission for holding public meeting at Minar-e-Pakistan on March 22. PTI leader Akmal Khan Bari filed petition in LHC Monday making chief secretary Punjab, deputy commissioner Lahore and others respondents. The petitioner has taken the plea PTI has to hold public meeting at Minar-e-Pakistan at 8 p.m to 12 p,m on March 22. Constitution of Pakistan allows to hold public meeting or rally. It has been said in the petition that PTI is being subjected to political victimization . Administration is not taking decision on application regarding public meeting. Court should order deputy commissioner Lahore and others to give decision on application besides giving permission to hold public meeting on March 22. ONLINE
