Adviser to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, Barrister Dr. Saif, has strongly reacted to Bilawal Zardari’s statement, urging him to shun the politics of blame and support government for steps against terrorism.
He questioned whether Ali Amin Gandapur should be blamed for the situation in Balochistan, where a train was recently taken hostage by terrorists, despite the province being governed by the PPP. Dr. Saif also pointed to rising lawlessness in Sindh, alleging that the province was under the control of dacoits, with its own rulers allegedly supplying them with weapons. He highlighted worsening security conditions in Karachi, where robberies have become routine.
Emphasizing that terrorism is a national issue rather than a provincial one, he criticized the federal government’s inaction. He further stated that Bilawal Bhutto, despite having traveled globally as Foreign Minister, failed to visit Afghanistan, a country directly linked to Pakistan’s terrorism challenges.
