Hearing of petition seeking registration of case against PM, Interior minister others adjourned

ISLAMABAD
District and Sessions Court Islamabad has adjourned till March 22 hearing of petition seeking registration of case against Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif and others due to engagement of the counsel of the petitioner.
Additional district and sessions judge Muhammad Afzal took up the case for hearing Thursday.
Murtaza Toori counsel for petitioner Gul Khan appeared in the court and told that senior counsel is pre-occupied in Peshawar High Court and due to it he cannot appear.
The court adjourned the hearing till March 22.
The lawyers of the petitioner will give arguments in next hearing.
Police had filed its reply.
It was said in the petition people were killed and injured in firing in D Chowk on the occasion of protest on November 26. Court should order for registration of case against PM Shehbaz Sharif, interior minister Mohsin Naqvi and others.
