Water and Sanitation Services Company Mardan (WSSCM) has finalized three days Eid ul Fitar sanitation operation plan for 38Neighborhod councils of Mardan. The implementation of the plan will begin today, ensuring that all 38 neighborhood councils in Mardan city are completely cleaned before Eid. Special teams have also been formed for sanitation on Chand Raat, and complaint cell will be remained operational during Eid days for citizens’ convenience.
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Executive Officer Shahid Khan to discuss the execution of the plan. General Manager Muhammad Khalil Akbar, Chief Financial Officer Naveed Akhtar, Manager Planning and Projects Imran Zaman, Manager Municipal Services Muhammad Ishaq and Manager HR & Admin Rahatullah attended.
During the meeting CEO was informed that 475 sanitation workers will participate in the pre-Eid cleanliness operations, while 216 workers will remain on duty during the Eid holidays. 32 vehicles will be deployed to collect waste and safely dispose off.
To ensure smooth execution, Manager Municipal Services Muhammad Ishaq will oversee sanitation operations on Chand Raat, while General Manager Muhammad Khalil Akbar will be on duty on the first day of Eid, Fleet Officer Amjad Khan on the second day, and Manager Municipal Services Muhammad Ishaq on the third day.
The meeting was informed that the cleaning of Eid gah’s and mosques has already commenced throughout the city.
CEO Shahid Khan approved the EidulFitar sanitation plan and emphasized that special attention will be given to maintaining cleanliness throughout Eid.
He stated that he will personally supervise cleanliness activities on Chand Raat and during the Eid holidays. He also urged citizens to cooperate by handing over their household waste to WSSCM staff before Eid to ensure a clean and beautiful Mardan city during the Eidulfitar.
