Advisor to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Finance and Interprovincial Coordination Muzzammil Aslam has announced that the provincial government has released 80% of its development funds by March, surpassing the rate of other provinces and the federal government.
This achievement highlights the government’s commitment to accelerating development projects. Advisor on finance said on Sunday that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has allocated a significant portion of its development funds, demonstrating its focus on rapid project implementation.
He said that the Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has approved a 27% increase in the development budget, with an additional Rs27 billion to be disbursed soon for various projects.
Aslam noted that this is the first time in his 20-year career that development funds have exceeded estimates, challenging opposition parties to match the government’s performance.
