A series of pre-conference workshops began on Monday as part of the build-up to the 3rd International Conference on Health Research – 2025 (ICHR-25), with sessions being held at Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) and partner institutions across the country.
The workshops were formally inaugurated by CEO RMI, Shafique Ur Rehman. Patron of ICHR-25 Prof. Dr. Ghulam Rasool and Chairman Dr. Naseer Ahmad were present at the opening, describing the workshops as a meaningful contribution toward strengthening research culture in the province and beyond.
In total, 52 workshops are taking place in various healthcare institutions, focusing on a wide range of topics including artificial intelligence in research, clinical trial ethics, biostatistics, meta-analysis, and manuscript writing.
The sessions are aimed at healthcare professionals, researchers, and students looking to sharpen their skills and stay current with evolving research methods.
The workshops are structured to be practical and interactive, with experienced trainers guiding sessions to help participants refine their skills. Attendees are being offered exposure to the latest tools and strategies used in global research environments, with CPD and CME credits available.
Covering both foundational and advanced topics, the sessions are drawing participation from across the country. Key areas of focus also include the integration of artificial intelligence in research, ethics in clinical trials, advanced statistical methods, and comprehensive manuscript development.
With registration still open, the workshops are expected to draw increased participation in the coming days. As a prelude to the main ICHR-25 event later this month (April 25-27), the workshops are setting the stage for what is being considered one of the most significant health research events in the region.
