Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed IG police Islamabad and IG police Punjab to appear before it in person on April 16 on the petitions in connection with recovery of 4 missing Afghan brothers case.
Justice Muhammad Asif while moving to Islamabad and Rawalpindi police authorities Thursday during the hearing of the case said if it happens with me or with you then it is felt. You people come here and say “we don’t know. This will continue upto how long. Whosoever suffers he knows how is he suffering. Mother of missing persons has come to my court repeatedly. We constitute JIT in this case.
The counsel said court understands it better. But there are evidences in addition to these.
The counsel for the petitioner said the sons of the petitioner are missing since one year. IG Police Islamabad should know his subordinate police is doing what.
The counsel for the petitioner requested the respondents be summoned in person.
The counsel for the petitioner requested for summoning defence and interior secretaries.
The court remarked we call IGs first then we will call other respondents after hearing them.
The court ordered both the IGs to appear before it on April 16 at 11 a.m.
The petition regarding recovery of 4 Afghan brothers who went missing from Islamabad came up for hearing before court Thursday.
The court adjourned hearing of the case till April 16.
