PM Shehbaz has given briefing to PML-N president Nawaz Sharif on the incident took place in Pahalgam declaring it a pre-planned drama. Shehbaz Sharif met his brother Nawaz Sharif at his residence in Jati Umra Lahore. PM informed Nawaz Sharif about the decisions taken in the meeting of National Security Committee (NSC). PM apprised Nawaz Sharif of Pakistan stance on provocative actions by India in the backdrop of Pahalgam incident.
Shehbaz Sharif made it clear in unequivocal term that Pahalgam incident is a pre-planned drama. The neighboring country has already enacted different dramas like this in the past. Future of the country is bright and we are awake.
He held decision like suspension of Indus Waters Treaty were not taken in war situation. If India resorts to aggression then befitting reply will be given to it.
PML-N president Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan wants peace in the region. We strongly condemn terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz was also present in the meeting.
