ISLAMABAD: Distribution Ceremony of Chinese Agricultural Equipment and tools was held. His Excellency Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan and His Excellency Rana Tanveer Hussain, Federal Minister for National Food Security & Research attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Ambassador Jiang Zaidong stated that both China and Pakistan are traditional agricultural countries, and both need to safeguard food security to ensure a better life for our peoples. The United States’ unilateral imposition of tariffs violates the legitimate rights and interests of all countries, undermines the multilateral trading system, and jeopardizes developing countries’ efforts to protect food security. We stand ready to work with Pakistan to resist unilateralism and tariff bullying, safeguard our shared interests, and uphold international fairness and justice.
