Peshawar admin bans drones, quadcopter amid security

PESHAWAR: In light of the prevailing security situation, the District Administration Peshawar has imposed a 30-day ban on the use of drones and quadcopters across the district under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC). “The move aims to safeguard public lives and properties, ensures the security of key installations, and prevents any potential unrest or unlawful activity, “said an official handout. Authorities have warned that any violation of this ban will result in legal action under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code. The district administration has urged all citizens to comply with the restrictions and promptly report any suspicious aerial activity to the relevant law enforcement agencies. DLP Report
