Babusar Top, one of the top tourist destinations in the region, has been reopened for all types of traffic after a six-month closure due to heavy snowfall. The reopening has brought joy to tourists and locals alike. According to officials from the National Highway Authority (NHA)on Thursday, travelers to and from Gilgit-Baltistan can now once again use the Babusar-Naran route. The road was cleared and restored with the help of heavy machinery that removed more than six glaciers.
The NHA confirmed that all police checkpoints along the Babusar route are now fully operational to ensure the safety and regulation of traffic. With the route now open, a large number of tourists have started to visit the scenic location once again.
