Tyrese Haliburton delivered a historic triple-double to power the Indiana Pacers past the New York Knicks 130–121 in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals on Tuesday, giving Indiana a commanding 3–1 lead in the best-of-seven series.
Haliburton finished with 32 points, 15 assists, and 12 rebounds without committing a single turnover — a first in NBA playoff history since the league began tracking turnovers in 1977–78. “I was just trying to be aggressive,” Haliburton said post-game. “I felt like I let the team down in Game 3. I could have been so much better. I felt like I responded the right way today.”
The point guard’s performance came in front of his father, John Haliburton, who returned to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for the first time since an incident involving Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo in Round 1. Indiana also welcomed former Pacers stars Jermaine O’Neal, George Hill, and Lance Stephenson, alongside celebrities Triple H, 50 Cent, John Mellencamp, and Jelly Roll.
Across the floor, Knicks supporters Spike Lee, Timothée Chalamet, and Ben Stiller watched on as the Pacers took control early.
Pascal Siakam added 30 points while Bennedict Mathurin scored 20 off the bench. Indiana shot 51% from the field and 40.6% from deep.
