Karachi Hockey Association (KHA) celebrated the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan with great patriotic fervor at the Olympian Hanif Khan & Dr. Junaid Ali Shah Hockey Stadium Gulshan Iqbal.
The ceremony commenced with a cake-cutting ceremony. This was followed by an exhibition women hockey match between KHA White Team and KHA Colour Team, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
Aisha Nadeem scored for KHA White Team while Maheen Ali scored for KHA Colour Team.
The match was supervised by Kashmala Batool and Rizean Khan.
Olympian Hanif Khan graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, he appreciated the efforts of KHA and urged the players to continue working hard to promote hockey and bring pride to the country.
The event concluded with a special prayer for the progress, prosperity, and peace of Pakistan.
