SIALKOT: Polling for by-elections in Punjab Assembly’s constituency PP-52 Sialkot will be held on Sunday. Arrangements have been finalized by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). Hina Arshad from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Raheel Kamran Cheema from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Shafaqat from Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) and other independent candidates will participate in the by-election. Over 1696 polling officials will perform their duties, while the total number of registered male and female voters in the constituency is 2,97,185. The total number of polling stations in the constituency is 185, including 11 highly sensitive, 38 sensitive and 136 normal polling stations. DNA
A control room has been set up in the office of the Provincial Election Commissioner Punjab to monitor the by-election. It will remain active 24 hours a day for public complaints.
The public will be able to directly lodge complaints. As per the instructions of the Provincial Election Commissioner Punjab, the complaints received from the public through telephone, WhatsApp, email and others will be redressed immediately.
