KP: over 100,000 patients received medical care during Eid holidays

Health Advisor Ihtesham Ali on Tuesday said that over 100,000 patients received emergency medical services during the three-day holidays.
He appreciated the medical staff of the government-run hospitals for their exceptional dedication.
”During Eid, our medical staff sacrificed their personal joys to provide unparalleled services in saving lives and safeguarding the health of the public, for which they deserve immense praise,” stated Health Advisor Ihtesham Ali.
According to the released data, 24-hour open medical centers across 37 districts of the province provided emergency services throughout the three days of Eid. During this period Over 100,000 patients received emergency medical services in non-MTI hospitals.
The further added that 4,844 patients were provided services in labor rooms, with 1,901 successful deliveries. The data shows that 329 major surgeries and over 10,000 minor surgeries were performed in emergency operation theaters, saving thousands of precious lives.
Furthermore, 760 individuals received anti-rabies vaccine for dog bites across the 37 districts, while 30 individuals were provided anti-snake venom vaccine.
Health Advisor paid tribute to all medical staff on duty during Eid for their commitment, hard work, and professional services, emphasizing that their sacrifices ensured timely and effective medical assistance to the public.
