Regional Police Officer (RPO) Bannu Region, Sajjad Khan, paid a visit to District North Waziristan on Wednesday.. . . . Haqnawaz shinwari
He was warmly received by District Police Officer (DPO) Waqar Ahmad Khan, with a smartly turned-out police contingent presenting a guard of honour.
The RPO began his visit with a solemn ceremony at the Martyrs’ Memorial in the Police Lines, where he laid floral wreaths and paid tribute to the brave martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
Following the memorial visit, RPO Sajjad Khan chaired a high-level meeting with senior police officers to review the law and order situation in the district. The meeting focused on crime prevention, counter-terrorism strategies, and enhancing public safety. Officers were briefed on ongoing operations and challenges, and future directives were discussed in detail.
Addressing the meeting, RPO Sajjad Khan emphasized the importance of courteous behavior, professional integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility in dealing with the public.
The RPO also took note of the challenges and concerns faced by police personnel and assured the force that necessary steps would be taken to address their issues. He directed officers to prioritize the protection of lives and property, and to modernize policing methods to make the force more responsive and community-friendly.
Later, RPO Sajjad Khan inspected various sections of the Police Lines, inspecting facilities and interacting with personnel.
