Chairman MWM Senator Raja Nasir Abbas Jaffari said that I unequivocally condemn the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) resolution of June 12, 2025, branding Iran as non-compliant with its nuclear obligations.
This resolution is a blatant, politically charged maneuver to strong-arm Iran and sabotage the delicate diplomatic talks aimed at resolving the nuclear issue.
Amid the latest escalation in the region, with reports of possible strikes by Israel backed by the United States and its allies, this resolution is, in effect, an attempt by the backers of the Zionist regime to legitimize likely aggression against Iran.
I am deeply troubled by the IAEA’s reliance on dubious evidence, conveniently supplied by Israel, which has an undeniable vendetta against Iran. This so-called evidence is flimsy at best, utterly lacking the impartiality demanded of a global watchdog.
The resolution is a reckless move that threatens to inflame an already tense region and derail critical negotiations, including those mediated by Oman.
The IAEA must uphold its integrity instead of becoming an American or even worse an Israeli poodle.
Iran has every right to pursue a peaceful nuclear program under the Non-Proliferation Treaty, and I denounce any attempt to unfairly single it out.
