Omar Ayub joins investigation in Nov 24 siege and arson case

Omar Ayub Khan opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) has joined the investigation in November 24 siege and arson case under court’s orders.
The case was registered in New Town police station.
Following the order of Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Omar Ayub filed his written reply before investigation officer through his counsel.
Omar Ayub has taken plea in his reply that he belongs to a democratic and political minded family. Over 90 cases registered against them across the court are baseless and are based on political vendetta.
He is appearing before the courts in all cases.
Omar Ayub took the plea in his written statement the said case is false and is based on fabricated allegations. I believe in peaceful protest. I never participated in any siege and arson of any kind. I am innocent.
Counsel for Omar Ayub handed over his written statement to Rashid , investigation officer of police station New Town in the premises of the court.
