ISLAMABAD
JI Amir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman while criticizing strongly government on inflation, inflated hike in prices of electricity, gas, petrol and sugar has said protest will be observed at all divisional headquarters including federal capital today (Sunday).
Addressing press conference here Saturday he said government and opposition are engaged in protecting their privileges and interests.
He pointed out ´these parties are united on enhancement in their salaries by 300 percent but no sincerity is shown by them for alleviating common man financial hardships.
All the political parties get united when there is issue of Senate seats or increase in the salaries of members of assembly but when time comes to raise voice for the problems facing common man then they all split .
Criticizing the enhancement in price of sugar from Rs 100 to Rs 200 per kilogram, persistent hike in prices of petroleum products and monopoly of sugar mafia he said 90 percent out of 89 sugar mills are owned by PML-N, PPP and other elite class and their dealership is centered in some hands. Neither any law can touch them nor some one can ask them.
The system of slabs in electricity bills is fake, he remarked. Loot and plunder spree will continue unless this system comes to end.
The government lied to the nation by making announcement for reduction in power tariff by Rs 7.41 per unit because this reduction has not been implemented practically.
The heavy taxes which are part of electricity bills be abolished forthwith.
Delegating powers to FBR to file FIR against the traders is unconstitutional and despotic.
He announced to hold Long March Balochistan ko Haq Do on July 25 warning if government tries to stop this Long March then situation can spiral out of hands.
He targeted PPP government in Sindh on growing cases of kidnapping for ransom, distribution of arms and excesses with minorities.
He underlined government and opposition get united for protection of their personal interests . The recent decisions regarding reserved seats are murder of justice. Silence of affectees over it is regrettable.
