Federal cabinet has accorded approval to implement uniform electricity tariff all over the country.
Federal cabinet has given yes nod to enforce uniform monthly electricity tariff adjustment for the entire country including Karachi.
Earlier monthly tariff adjustment for K-Electric and other county was different from each other.
Federal cabinet has approved August 19 decision of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) . Under the decision a uuniform monthly electricity tariff adjustment will be implemented for the entire country.
Increase or decrease in fuel adjustment will be the same for the entire country.
Under this new decision monthly adjustment will be made at uniform rate like quarterly and basic tariff for the entire country.
