The moon for Rabi-ul-Awwal was not sighted across the country, and Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) will be celebrated on Saturday, September 6, Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Abdul Khabir Azad announced. “No evidence of the moon sighting was received from any part of the country. Therefore, the first day of Rabi-ul-Awwal will fall on Tuesday, August 26, while 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal (Eid Milad-un-Nabi PBUH) will be observed with religious fervour on Saturday, September 6,” said Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabir.
