PESHAWAR
A police constable was shot dead in Jamrud on Monday, reportedly due to personal enmity.
Local police said, the incident occurred in Ghundi, where gunmen opened fire on police constable Khurshid Khan, killing him on the spot.
The exact motive behind the killing could not be confirmed immediately; however, local sources claimed the murder was linked to a long-standing personal rivalry.
The funeral prayer for the slain policeman was offered at his native town. Jamrud has witnessed several such incidents in recent months, where multiple people have lost their lives due to ongoing feuds.
