The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Labour Fazal Shakoor Khan has said that the provincial government will never leave the families affected by floods and natural calamities alone in difficult times.
He added that the government is striving to provide financial assistance to the affected people, as public welfare and well-being are among the top priorities of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
“Tangible steps are being taken to resolve people’s problems and provide them relief” the KP labour minister expressed these views while distributing relief cheques among the rain and flood-affected families at a ceremony held in the office of the Deputy Commissioner Charsadda.
Relief cheques were distributed among those families who suffered human and property losses due to the recent heavy rains and natural disasters in Charsadda.
The heirs of those who lost their lives received financial compensation, while the affected households whose houses were damaged also received financial support from the government.
The ceremony was also attended by Deputy Commissioner Charsadda, Dr. Azmatullah Wazir, Additional Deputy Commissioner Relief, and other concerned officials.
On this occasion, DC Charsadda also said that the district administration, under the clear directives of the provincial government, is taking all possible measures to ensure timely relief and assistance to all the affected people of rains and floods.
