Leader of the Opposition in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Dr. Ibadullah Khan, held a significant meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Federal Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar to discuss the ongoing flood crisis and the hardships faced by affected communities.
During the meeting, Dr. Ibadullah urged the federal government to provide immediate relief and essential facilities to the flood victims across the province. He emphasized the urgent need for emergency assistance to alleviate the suffering of displaced families and restore normalcy in the affected districts.
In response, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar assured that the federal government stands with the flood-affected population and will extend all possible support. “The victims will not be left alone under any circumstances,” he stated, adding that comprehensive relief measures would be taken to assist those impacted.
The meeting also included a detailed exchange on the prevailing political situation in the country, with a particular focus on developments in KP.
