Despite High Court order, meeting with PTI founder was not arranged: Senator Zeshan Khanzada

MARDAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senator Zeeshan Khanzada has strongly condemned the government after once again not being allowed access to meet party chairman Imran Khan at Adiala Jail. Talking to the News here on Friday Zeeshan Khanzada said that last Thursday, he went out of Adiala Jail along with other party activists in order to meet Imran Khan. He argued that although included among the six individuals officially cleared for meeting Members of National Assembly Shahid Khattak and Yousaf Khan included, none of the parliamentarians found way into the jail. Senator Zeeshan Khanzada criticized authorities and asked: “What law is preventing us from meeting Imran Khan? Parliamentarians have been sent away a total of 20 times without a meeting. He argued that earlier we would be informed that we are not on the list. Now, even when we are included in the list we are not allowed a meeting. He added that even the High Court order is not respected.” PTI’s senator Khanzada warned that those misleading by ordering restrictions for meeting would not be able to weaken PTI. Falak Sher
He added that if anyone thinks that banning meeting would create some frays within PTI, that’s all incorrect. He added that no matter how many times we are sent away we would keep flaunting and visiting Adiala Jail.
Senator added that we would also inform the world what kind of injustice is taking place there. Zeeshan also revealed that even a Pakistani woman from the United States was not allowed access simply because she had come there to meet Imran Khan. “What impression would she now take along and depict regarding Pakistan”, he argued.
