Provincial election commissioner urges action against office harassment

Everyone should work to prevent sexual harassment in offices. This was stated by Joint Provincial Election Commissioner Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shahid Iqbal, while addressing an awareness session on sexual harassment in the provincial office.
The awareness session for Election Commission employees was organized by the Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH). Assistant Registrar Regional Office FOSPAH, Ms. Amina Rafiq, provided a detailed briefing on the Act.
Director Elections Muhammad Nadeem Khan, Spokesperson to Provincial Election Commissioner Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Suhail Ahmad, and employees attended the session.
Shahid Iqbal emphasized the importance of providing a suitable environment for working women and respecting everyone’s dignity. He stated that such workshops are essential to raise awareness about the law protecting women from harassment in offices.
The Joint Provincial Election Commissioner appreciated FOSPAH for organizing the awareness workshop. Assistant Registrar Ms. Amina Rafiq thanked the Provincial Election Commissioner Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for cooperation and presented a shield to Muhammad Nadeem Khan.
Participants raised various questions during the session, and Director Elections Muhammad Nadeem Khan thanked FOSPAH for conducting the awareness session.
