Wheelchair Tennis Training Camp, Second Phase Begins

The second session of the ongoing training program for the promotion of wheelchair tennis organized by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tennis Association under the supervision of the Pakistan Tennis Federation was held at the Peshawar Sports Complex, which aims to provide equal opportunities for sports and training to players with disabilities on par with other normal players.
Abdul Noman from Karachi was the chief guest on the occasion of the session, Coordinator Wheelchair Tennis and Senior Vice President Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tennis Association Umar Ayaz Khalil, Chief Coach Directorate General Sports Shafqatullah, Cricket Coach Pervez Khan, Table Tennis Coach Officer and Players Saqib Umar, Hamza Roman and Israr Gul were also present on the occasion.
Young athletes from across the province participated in the session and appreciated the ongoing steps for the promotion of wheelchair tennis and gave suggestions.
In the session, five wheelchair tennis girls and eight boys received training under the supervision of coaches Noman, Shahryar, Zakir and Roman Gul. Later, exhibition matches were held between them.
