PESHAWAR: A police encounter in Karak ended with the death of a notorious proclaimed offender involved in multiple serious crimes. Police said on Sunday that Karak City Police received information that a dangerous wanted criminal, Fazal Kareem alias Kaka, son of Fazal Manan, resident of Dub Sangini, was present at his hideout along with accomplices. Acting swiftly, SHO Karak City and his team launched a raid on the location. As soon as the police reached the spot, the criminal and his accomplices opened indiscriminate fire on the police party. In self-defense and to overcome resistance, the police retaliated. After an exchange of fire, one body was recovered, later identified as Fazal Kareem alias Kaka. The slain criminal was wanted by Karak City Police in five major cases, including murder, attempted murder, attack on police, dacoity, and other heinous crimes. olice have launched a search operation to track down his remaining accomplices.
