Two residents were killed in different incidents in Bara tehsil of the Khyber tribal districts on Wednesday, official sources said. The sources said Muhammad Nawaz, son of Shermat Khan was on his way in Bara Bazaar when unknown gunmen opened fire on him, leaving him critically injured. He was rushed to Dogra hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Another incident took place in the Maidan area in Tirah valley, one of the two abducted members of the peace committee of Junood-ul-Khyber identified as Saifullah was found dead who was abducted by militants two days ago along with his other accomplice. The body of the one was recovered from the Shamshey area of Tirah valley.The other peace committee member identified as Muhammadullah believe to be in the captivity of militants in Tirah.
However, no group of the banned organisation yet claimed responsiblity for the killing of peace body member till filling to this report.
