Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Bannu Region, Sajjad Khan, visited Chowki Mazanga on Wednesday to commend and reward the police personnel who courageously repelled a recent terrorist attack.
During the visit, DIG Sajjad Khan praised the bravery and swift response of Bannu Police, stating that their courage had successfully foiled the terrorists’ plans. “The valiant youth of Bannu Police have once again proved that they are fully prepared to protect the lives and property of the public under any circumstances,” he said.
He added that the police force stands as a frontline defense against terrorism and will not allow any hostile agenda to disrupt peace in the region.
As a token of appreciation, DIG Sajjad Khan distributed cash rewards and certificates of appreciation to the police officials involved in repelling the attack. He lauded their dedication, terming their actions a proud example of duty and sacrifice.
