Justice Jahangiri appoints his counsel in case of restraining him from judicial work

ISLAMABAD: Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri of Islamabad High Court (IHC) has appointed his counsel in the case of restraining him from judicial work. According to sources Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri has appointed Munir A Malik his counsel. Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri had filed petition in Supreme Court (SC) in personal capacity. While his petition was fixed for hearing a day before. A 5-member SC constitutional bench led by Justice Amin Ud Din Khan will take up his petition for hearing on September 29. This bench comprises Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar , justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi and justice Shahid Wahid. It is pertinent to mention here Islamabad High Court (IHC) had restrained Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri from performing judicial work in fake degree case. He had filed appeal plea against this order in SC. SC had issued number 4247 on September 20 on the petition of Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri.
