UPPER DIR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Government Department launched the “Clean and Transparent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Program” in Upper Dir District with great fanfare. The program’s inauguration ceremony was held at Dir Stadium, with dignitaries including MNA Sabghatullah, MPA Muhammad Anwar Khan, Deputy Commissioner Naveed Akbar, Tehsil Chairman Sheringal Gul Shah Wali Khan, AD senior local govt Badshah zada and other officials and local citizen and elected respentative were also participated in cermony . On the occasion orginzer Senior Assistant Directer local government Haji Badshah zad brifed the offocials and public. He said 117 village councils have received sanitation equipment, including raksha,s loader vehicles and trollies, to improve cleanliness in their respective areas. AD told These equipment will enable the village councils to effectively manage waste and maintain cleanliness.he said that 234 sanitation staff were hired on merit to support the program. These staff members will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in their respective areas. The program aims to modernize and improve the sanitation system in the district. The program’s objective is to provide a clean and healthy environment for the residents of Upper Dir. The MNA from Upper Dir, Sabghatullah and MPA Muhammad Anwar Khan Praised, tehsil chairmain Shah wali khan the provincial government’s initiative, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness and the program’s potential to improve sanitation standards in both urban and rural areas. They highlighted that cleanliness is half of faith and that the government is taking practical steps to provide a clean environment to the public.
