Elisa Blood screening machine inaugurated at Hamza Foundation

PESHAWAR: District Health Officer (DHO) Peshawar, Dr. Syed Muhammad Idrees, along with Dr. Zafar Ali Khan, Deputy District Health Officer Peshawar, inaugurated a new fully-automatic Elisa Blood Screening Machine (Mindray-900i) at the Hamza Foundation Welfare Thalassemia Center and Blood Services. The delegation was warmly received by Engr. Hamza Ejaz, Dr. Tariq Khan, and Mr. Hassan Gul of the Hamza Foundation, who briefed them on the organization’s various welfare activities and conducted a detailed tour of different sections of the center. With the installation of this advanced equipment, the blood screening process will now meet WHO standards for safe blood transfusion, ensuring improved safety for patients. DHO Peshawar appreciated the welfare services of Hamza Foundation, especially its dedicated support for Thalassemia and Hemophilia patients from underprivileged backgrounds.
